Maharashtra FYJC general merit list 2025 out; over 12.7 lakh students apply for Class 11 admissions

The School Education and Sports Department, Maharashtra has released the general merit list for Class 11 admissions through the centralised online process today June 12. Eligible students can download the Maharashtra FYJC merit list 2025 through the official website at mahafyjcadmissions.in.

In the first round of admissions, 9,435 junior colleges and higher secondary schools across the state have completed registration. The combined intake capacity of these institutions is 21,23,040 seats. Of these, 18,97,526 are available for allocation under the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), while 2,25,514 seats fall under quota categories such as in-house, management and minority.

Students should enter their login details to access the FYJC merit list 2025. The list is prepared based on the information provided in student applications and has been revised after addressing any objections raised. As of now, 12,71,295 students have completed registration for Maharashtra FYJC Class 11 admissions 2025.

Maharashtra FYJC General Merit List 2025: Quota admission deadline

Students who want to confirm admission under any quota will have to do so by 6 pm on June 14. The admission process should be completed in person at the respective junior college. The department has clarified that confirming quota admission is optional. However, once confirmed, the student’s admission is treated as final and the name is removed from subsequent CAP rounds.

“Confirming admission under any quota is optional. Students who finalise their admission through any quota will be excluded from all subsequent rounds of the centralised admission process as their admission will be considered complete,” the official notice said.

As per data recorded on May 12, a total of 1,13,048 applications were submitted under the quota categories. Of these, 3,871 students confirmed admission under the in-house quota, 1,022 under the management quota and 4,194 under the minority quota, amounting to a total of 9,087 confirmed admissions.
