Maharashtra HSC Result 2025: Overall pass rate drops by 1.49 points; science students lead

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced stream-wise Maharashtra HSC Class 12th results for science, commerce, and arts streams. The Maharashtra HSC result link 2025 will be out on the official website, results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in, and hscresult.mkcl.org, at 1 pm. Out of the 15,05,595 (15 lakh) registered students, 14,95,679 (14.95 lakh) appeared and 13,48,588 (13.48 lakh) students passed the board exam.

The Maharashtra HSC result 2025, includes fresh regular, fresh private and repeater students. The performance of Maharashtra Class 12 students has dropped by 1.49 points compared to last year, when students scored an overall pass percentage of 93.37%.

As per the HSC result 2025 data, more than 1 lakh passed the Class 12 board exam with distinction, 4,07,438 students got first class, and 5,88,000 (5 lakh) and 1,64,601 (1.64 lakh) were placed in second and third class respectively, MSBSHSE chairman Sharad Gosavi said during the press conference.

Notably, no student scored 100% in the HSC Results 2025. Moreover, 38 colleges recorded a 0% pass rate, meaning no student from these institutions passed the Class 12 exam
