The MHT CET 2026 registration deadline has been extended by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell. Now, eligible candidates will be able to register for the MHT CET 2026 for admission to MBA, MMS, engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture programmes by February 20.

The MHT CET 2026 registration link can be accessed through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
The Maharashtra State CET cell will conduct the computer-based MHT CET 2026 for admission to MBA, and MMS programmes from April 6 to 8. Candidates will also be able to give the college entrance test in the second attempt, scheduled on May 9.
The first attempt of the MHT CET 2026 exam for admission to Physics Chemistry and Maths (PCM), and PCB (Biology) courses will be held from April 1 to 26, while the second attempt will take place from May 10 to 17.

“Candidates who have not yet generated their APAAR ID are required to create the same through DigiLocker. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell for further updates, detailed schedules, and instructions related to the examination,” the official notification reads.
Earlier, the MHT CET 2026 registrations were scheduled from January 10 to February 12.
As per the eligibility criteria, only those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for MHT CET 2026.
Reserved category candidates only need 45% marks in graduation to register for the college entrance test.
General category candidates from Maharashtra and outside the state should have to pay Rs 1,500 as MHT CET 2026 registration charges, while the application fee for backward class, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other gender candidates is Rs 1,300.
