Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Post allotment events
-
Seat Acceptance and Reporting : In case the candidate satisfied with the seat, he or she must report to the allotted institute for document verification and admission formalities. This must be done between August 31 and September 4, 2024, by 5:30 pm. During this period, you'll also need to pay the required admission fees.
-
Status Retention Form : If you accept the seat and do not wish to participate in further rounds, you must submit a "Status Retention Form." Submitting this form means that you confirm your seat and won't participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
-
Upgradation Option : If you wish to upgrade to a better-preferred college or course, you can opt for upgradation. If you do this, you'll still need to secure your Round 1 seat by paying the fees but can move to a different option in Round 2 if allotted.
-
Document Verification : Ensure all your original documents are ready for verification. These typically include your NEET scorecard, allotment letter, domicile certificate, category certificate (if applicable), and educational certificates.
Failing to complete these steps within the specified timeline will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
