Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling delayed over fake documents; revised schedule soon

Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2025: The State CET Cell has identified 152 candidates who submitted forged documents, including fake domicile certificates and marksheets.

Enrol NowThe Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 round 3 counselling schedule is still awaited after being postponed due to submission of fake or forged documents by out-of-state students. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) will publish the NEET UG counselling 2025 dates for round 3 on the official website, medicalug2025.mahacet.org.
The State CET Cell has identified 152 candidates who submitted forged documents , including fake domicile certificates and marksheets. The officials have issued notice to all such candidates via email and asked them to re-upload their documents by October 16.
"Candidates who fail to provide such documents will not be included in further admission process as per the rules mentioned in the information brochure," the official notice read.
A day later, the Maharashtra MBBS round 3 admission process was postponed as MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 was also deferred due to the addition of new seats.
As aspirants await the revised round 3 counselling dates, several X users expressed disappointment over repeated delays and alleged irregularities in MBBS admission.
The Maharashtra NEET UG round 3 seat allotment results were scheduled to be out on October 17. The counselling process is conducted to fill 85% state quota seats.
