Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP round 1 choice filling begins; 35,463 eligible for MBBS, BDS admissions

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has started the choice filling for the Maharashtra National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 CAP round 1 and the final merit list has been published. Eligible candidates can access the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 round 1 choice filling option through the official website at medical2026.mahacet.org.

MBBS and BDS aspirants can fill their choices of colleges and programmes for Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP round 1 by August 29 up to 5:30 pm.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 round 1 final merit list contains NEET all category India rank, NEET gender, roll number, CET cell online form number, candidate name, NRI, specified reservation, candidature type, and remark.

The Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP round 1 final allotment list will be declared on August 30 on the basis of candidates' NEET UG marks, choices filled, reservation and vacant seats.

Those who will be allotted MBBS and BDS seats, will have to report to their allotted colleges from August 31 to September 4 up to 4:30 pm.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the Maharashtra NEET UG final merit list.

• Go to the official website at cetcell.maharashtra.org.
• On the homepage, click on UG medical admissions.
• A new page will be open.
• Look for NEET UG revised candidate list for group A.
• Click on it.
• The final merit list pdf will be opened.
• Check your roll number and eligibility.
• Download the final merit list.

A total of 9,000 MBBS and 3,526 BDS seats will be filled at various government and private medical colleges through the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling process 2026.
