• The candidate is required to enter the information that he/she filled at the time of registration and then security question & answer thereon to be entered as given during New Candidate registration process.
• The above data submitted by candidate will be validated with the registered candidate’s database. If the above entries match, then only, the candidate would be permitted to enter new password to proceed further.

Candidates eligible for seat allotment in 3rd round would be from one of the following groups: 

• Group–I: Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in the Round 1 or Round 2.
• Group-II: Registered candidates who have secured seat & whose 2nd round of allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission will be considered for allotment of seat in the next round of seat allotment, with changed Category, subject to availability of seat in respective category.
• Group–III: Candidates who have submitted willingness for third round up-gradation as Yes.
• Group- IV: Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not join or resigned and exited after forfeiture of fees.

Round-1 allotted candidates have a FREE EXIT option. Those who do not want to join the allotted seat can Exit without forfeiture of security deposit. Exit with forfeiture means if a candidate is allotted a seat in 2nd round or subsequent round of counselling and does not want to join the allotted seat he can leave the seat with forfeiture of security deposit (losing security amount deposited). Once a candidate joined the allotted seat after Round 3, he/she would not be eligible for resigning/surrender of joined seat. 

• Physical Reporting with original documents at the allotted Medical/Dental College against Round-1 for candidates who do not want upgradation. (FREEZE CANDIDATES)
• Candidates who want to upgrade their seat in Round-2 can give willingness for upgradation online. (FLO AT CANDID ATES) Such ca ndidates do not need to physically report at the allotted college.
• All the candidates whether Freeze or Float have to mandatorily submit the scanned copies of their documents online on the MCC portal by logging into their account.

The reservation policy of the Central Government is followed: SC- 15%, ST- 7.5%, OBC- 27% (Non-Creamy Layer) in Central List, PwD- 5% Horizontal Reservation as per INC norms, EWS- 10%, CW seats- there may be certain seats reserved for CW candidates in certain Central Nursing Institutes for which the candidates are advised to check the eligibility conditions from the website of those Institutes (Only for Delhi region).
