Maharashtra SET registration 2019 to begin from Feb 1; exam on June 23

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 30, 2019: Savitribai Phule, Pune University will start the registration process of Maharashtra SET for the post of Assistant Professors from February 1 in online mode. Aspiring candidates who wish to appear for Maharashtra SET examination 2019 can fill the application form till February 21, 2019 by visiting the official website - http://setexam.unipune.ac.in .
As per a notification released by Savitribai Phule, Pune University, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 23, 2019. Earlier, the exam was conducted for three papers but from this year, Maharashtra SET will be conducted for two papers.
Aspiring candidates can make corrections in the Maha SET application form 2019 from February 22 to 28. After the prescribed date, candidates will not be able to make any changes in the application form. With the availability of the notification, candidates can also check all details related to the Maharashtra SET eligibility criteria, application form, exam pattern, exam, exam centres etc.
As per the exam pattern of Maharashtra SET 2019, paper I will have 50 objective type questions whereas paper II is held for 100 objective type questions. Candidates will have to complete paper I and II in one-hour and two-hour respectively.
The admit card of Maharashtra SET will be released ten days prior to the date of examination in online mode. Along with the print out of the admit card, candidates will also have to carry any one prescribed photo ID card. After the exam, the exam conducting body will release the answer key of Maharashtra SET. The result of Maharashtra SET will be declared tentatively in July, 2019. Candidates with 40 percent aggregate marks (General category) and 35 percent marks (reserved categories) in both the papers will be considered eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.
Maharashtra SET exam is conducted every year in offline mode for recruiting Assistant Professors across the Universities and Colleges of Maharashtra and Goa.
