The board will come up with the fair and objective criteria for promoting Class 10 students soon. CBSE, ICSE and other state boards have also cancelled Class 10 exams and are working on the objective criterion to analyse student’s performance. Several boards may make the internal assessment and project the basis for the assessment of the Class 10 students. However, students should wait for the final announcement by the respective boards.
The school education minister said on Tuesday, “The criterion on the basis of which results will be declared for class 10th & date of result declaration will soon be announced. The School Education Dept is committed to devising a "fair and accurate" assessment criterion.”
