Maharashtra SSC Result 2021: Over 16.5 lakh await Class 10 board results

NEW DELHI: Over 16.5 lakh students are waiting for the SSC Class 10 results to be declared on July 16 by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), said school education minister, Varsha Gaikwad, in a social media post. The students can check their results by filling their roll numbers at mahresult.nic.in or https://mahahsscboard.in/.

Varsha Gaikwad has announced that the SSC Class 10 result will be declared tomorrow at 1pm. Earlier, the result was expected to be declared on July 15, 2021. Now, she has confirmed the exact time and date for the result.

Of the total 16,58,624 students who will receive their SSC results, 9,09,931 are boys and 7,48,693 are girls. Results will be announced for all nine divisions of the MSBSHSE - Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kohlapur, Amravati, Nasik, Latur and Konkan.

The board had cancelled the examination for Class 10 due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The result is being prepared on the basis of the performance of students in internal assessments in Class 9 and Class 10.

Earlier, the state government had announced that it would conduct an optional Common Entrance Test (CET) for Class 10 students who wish to get admission to First-Year Junior Colleges (FYJC).
