Not a single student could secure pass marks in nine schools which includes two in Mumbai and four in Nagpur, reported Hindustan Times. This result was prepared as per alternative evaluation criteria as exams could not be held.

On May 28, the board has announced the SSC Maharashtra board evaluation criteria 2021 for the cancelled exams. In SSC result, students will get marks based on their marks obtained in the internal exams of Classes 9 and 10. The final marks of a student will be calculated based on their marks in:

• Internal marks based on year-long performance (30 marks)

• Home work/orals/practical/internal assignment as per board's policy (20 marks)

• Final results of Class 9 (50 marks)

Maharashtra education minister, Varsha Gaikwad has announced earlier that CET for FYJC Class 11 admissions will be held around the last week of July or first week of August 2021. As the result has been announced today, the department is expected to release Maharashtra CET exam 2021 dates soon.

Last year, the pass percentage was 95.30% which was the highest in the previous 10 years. This year also, it has been improved to 99.95%. This is the highest pass percentage which may be due to the cancellation of exams and adopting the alternative evaluation criteria.

Every year, the board provides a revaluation facility for the students who are unsatisfied with the MAha SSC result 2021. But his year exams were cancelled so the board has not taken any decision for corrections or revaluations. Officially, the result was scheduled to be announced today after 1 pm. But, the statistics were announced around 11:30 am and result link was to be activated on result.mh-ssc.ac.in at 1 pm. Still, there is no update on result link activation and no student has got his/her result as the website is not working.

Education department officials have released the Class 10 Maharashtra board result today in a press conference. This year the pass percentage is 99.95 per cent, reported Hindustan Times. Girls have outshined boys. The overall pass percentage of girls is 99.96% and the boys pass percentage is 99.95 per cent.
