Mahindra University launches new BBA, BSc courses; opens UG admission across six schools

Mahindra University offers admission to engineering courses based on JEE Main 2025 or a valid SAT score. Know eligibility criteria for programmes offered across sex schools.

NEW DELHI: Mahindra University has announced admissions for its undergraduate programmes for the academic year 2025-26. The university is inviting applications for admissions across its six schools. The University has also introduced two new specialisation programmes from this academic year.

According to the official press release, the institute has launched a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in entrepreneurship and family business programme, along with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) [BSc (Hons.)] in culinary and hospitality management.

“The programmes aim to prepare students to become future-ready leaders by combining academic excellence, experiential learning and industry relevance,” the institute said.

The names of six Mahindra University schools are École Centrale School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Law, School of Digital Media and Communication, School of Design Innovation, and the newly launched School of Hospitality Management.

Mahindra University: Programmes offered at engineering schools

According to the official press release, the UG programmes offered at the École Centrale School of Engineering include specialisations in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECM), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computation and Mathematics (CM), Mechanical Engineering (ME).

The schools also offer admission at UG programmes in Mechatronics (MT), Civil Engineering (CE), Nano Technology (NT), Biotechnology (BT), Computational Biology (CB), Aerospace (Aero), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ELC) and VLSI Design and Technology (VLSI).

The institute also offers 5-year integrated programmes, including Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Science and Engineering and Biotechnology. The eligibility criteria for these courses include qualification in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 or a valid Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) score.

Programmes offered at management schools

The Mahindra University’s School of Management offers admission to several interdisciplinary 3-year BBA degree programmes for the academic year 2025-26. This includes BBA in Applied Economics and Finance, Computational Business Analytics and Digital Technologies. The eligibility criteria for the course include 80% or equivalent grade in Class 12 from any statutory board, or an equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved boards.

Apart from this, candidates with valid SAT Scores will also be considered for admission. The BBA in entrepreneurship and family business programmes will commence its first academic session in 2025-26. “The programmes at the School of Management have been developed in collaboration with Cornell University’s SC Johnson School of Business, United States,” press release read.

Mahindra University’s School of Law: Programmes offered

The School of Law offers 5-year integrated programmes, including Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws [BA, LLB (Honours)] and Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws [BBA, LLB (Honours)]. To be eligible for these courses, students must have a valid Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or Law School Admission Test (LSAT) score, or qualify in the Mahindra University Law Entrance Test 2025 (MULET 2025).

The institute further informed that an integrated six-year programme in Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Laws [BTech, LLB (Honours)] is proposed to be launched beginning in the academic session 2025-26, subject to clearance from the Bar Council of India (BCI).

School of Digital Media and Communication: Programmes, eligibility

The School of Digital Media and Communication offers admission at undergraduate programmes in Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computation and Media.

As per BJMC eligibility criteria, candidates should have 80% or an equivalent grade in Class 12 from any recognised statutory board or an equivalent grade for students from the International Baccalaureate (IB) or other approved boards. Applicants with valid Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) scores will also be considered for admission.

For BTech in Computation and Media, the eligibility criteria include qualification in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 or a valid SAT score.

Mahindra University: Programmes offered at School of Design

The undergraduate programme offered by the School of Design Innovation is Bachelor of Design (BDes). The eligibility criteria include a valid Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED), National Institute of Design (NID), or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance score for 2025.

Candidates should also have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognised statutory board with a minimum of 80% marks or an equivalent grade for students from the International Baccalaureate (IB) or other approved boards. Students can also secure admission by qualifying in the Mahindra University Design Innovation Entrance Test (MUDET 2025).

School of Hospitality Management: Programmes, eligibility criteria

The School of Hospitality Management offers admission to its Bachelor of Science (Honours) [BSc (Hons.)] in culinary and hospitality management, with the academic session commencing in August 2025. The eligibility criteria include completion of Class 12 across all streams from any recognised board with a minimum of 80% marks, a valid National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) score, or qualification in the Mahindra University Hospitality Management Entrance Test 2025 (MUHET 2025).
