Manipal ProLearn, Jigsaw Academy in talks to create Business-to-Consumer unit

NEW DELHI, JUNE 17: Manipal ProLearn, a part of Manipal Global Education Services, and Jigsaw Academy, one of the leading institutes in data science training, is looking to collaborate and expand their presence in the Business-to-Customer (B2C) market.
B2C is an electronic commerce model that involves direct financial transaction or online sale between the business and the consumer. Through their combined offerings in data science, digital marketing, cloud computing and cybersecurity, the two entities are aiming to target the executive education market, currently pegged to be worth Rs. 75,000 crores. The two companies are expected to sync their technology and content to bring forth a new wave in online education services.
“Jigsaw Academy has established a formidable brand in the data science training space and we believe we can expand this to all emerging technologies. We will engage with them to build a stronger footprint for both Manipal and Jigsaw brands. In the coming months, we will synergise our strengths in technology, educational content and client relationships to serve this large and rapidly growing market even better,” said Subrat Mohanty, Group President, Manipal Education & Medical Group speaking on the prospective collaboration.
