Download NowNEW DELHI: The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (CoHSEM) and the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BoSEM) have announced the evaluation criteria of Classes 10 and 12 students. The Manipur board result 2021 is also expected to be declared by July 31, 2021.
Students will be evaluated on the basis of their performance in the previous classes. However, students who are not satisfied with the evaluation criteria can approach the concerned officials. The board will also arrange special exams for such students.
Manipur board evaluation criteria for Class 10 and 12
Manipur board Class 10 assessment criteria: Out of 100 marks, 20 marks will be based on the internal assessment of the school, 30 marks of Class 9 exam results. 50 out of 80 marks will be awarded from the marks scored by candidates in different periodic tests and term tests of Class 10 conducted by schools during the academic year 2020 – 2021.
Manipur board Class 12 assessment criteria: Out of 100 marks, 30 marks will be given from Class 10 result (three best subjects), 20 marks from Class 11 result and 50 marks from Class 12 test exams conducted by the respective schools.
Manipur education minister Sorokhaibam Rajen Singh and other board officials said, “A total of 44,068 candidates had registered for Class 10 (BoSEM) examination, 2021. These students are from 962 schools of the state, including private and government schools. Toppers of the examinations will not be announced this year. Also, a total of 29,517 students have registered for the CoHSEM examination 2021,” as per a report of Hindustan Times.
He further stated that as per the order of the Supreme Court of India, the board is committed to declare the result of Classes 10 and 12 before July 31.
On June 17, the Manipur board cancelled the 10th and 12th board exams due to the COVID-19 situation in the state.
