MAT 2020- AIMA introduces “Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test”
NEW DELHI- The All India Management Association has announced that in wake of COVID-19 pandemic, MAT will be conducted in June as a remotely proctored internet-based test also. In the official notice issued on the website, the authorities will conduct the pen and paper-based mode exam on June 14 and computer-based test on June 21. The dates for the internet-based exam are yet to be announced.
Key Features About Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test
Candidates who opt for IBT mode, they will not have to go to the test centre for the exam and they can appear for the test from the confines of their home.
Those who opt for the IBT mode, must ensure that they have internet facility and a webcam in their computer or laptop.
Candidates must have the right bandwidth so that they do not face any problem while appearing for the exam.
Why IBT mode exam?
AIMA took the decision of conducting MAT 2020 for the May session with an aim to prevent the students from visiting the test centres as large gatherings might prove to be detrimental due to the widespread of COVID 19. Hence, the authorities are encouraging social distancing and also trying to ensure that the exams are conducted in a free and fair manner.
