MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 dates out; registration from September 20

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling dates for admission into MD, MS, DNB, PG Diploma courses under 50% all India quota (AIQ). NEET PG counselling 2024 registration will begin from September 20 on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2024 will be eligible to apply.

The MCC will conduct a total of four rounds of NEET PG 2024 counselling - round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round. As per the eligibility criteria, general and EWS candidates who have obtained 50th percentile, General-PwBD who have scored 45th percentile, and SC, ST, OBC who have secured not less than 40th percentile will be considered for the counselling process.

Candidates will have to enter a valid email address and mobile number to login and register for the NEET PG counselling. They are also required to submit their choice of courses and colleges in the order of preference. There are a total of 70,645 NEET PG seats in India as of now, the Union health ministry informed the government in May this year. According to the data, Maharashtra has the highest number of 3,576 PG medical seats.
