MCC revises NEET PG round 3 schedule; choice filling begins today, allotment on February 3

Download nowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the revised NEET PG round 3 counselling schedule after halting the choice locking facility in view of the pending Supreme Court cases. One seat has been added in Government Medical College Kota and two seats in Nizams Institute Of Medical Sciences, Telangana. Additionally, 49 seats have been added in Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) as per the Supreme Court order, the MCC said.
The MCC NEET PG choice locking was put on hold due to the pending legal cases in the top court. However, the tentative dates for NEET PG round 3 counselling have been notified now on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
As per the schedule, fresh applications will be accepted till 2 pm on January 31 and the payment facility will be available till 5 pm. The NEET PG choice filling will be closed on February 2, and the choice locking will open at 8 pm on February 1 and close at 11.55 pm on the last date.
The MCC NEET PG round 3 seat allotment results will be declared on February 3 after multiple postponements . Candidates who are allotted seats in this round are required to report at the college between February 4 and 11.
All candidates who appeared in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will be eligible to appear.
After the first two rounds, 18,000 seats remained vacant. In view of the vacant seats, the health ministry had recently reduced the NEET PG cut-off percentile to zero and qualifying marks to -40, sparking controversy.
