NEET UG 2025 round 3 choice filling extended to October 13; MBBS, BDS seat allotment postponed again

Download EBookThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again extended the choice filling deadline for the NEET UG round 3 counselling 2025 in view of the addition of 67 MBBS seats in Kolkata and Tamil Nadu medical colleges. The MCC NEET UG round 3 choice filling dates were extended multiple times and the revised schedule was published a day ago. However, the NEET UG choice filling 2025 for round 3 has been extended again until October 13, raising confusion on whether the schedule will be revised again.
As per the revised NEET UG counselling 2025 dates , the round 3 seat allotment was scheduled to be announced on October 11. Now that the choice filling has been extended, the seat allotment date will also be postponed to a later date.
Meanwhile, candidates will be able to submit their choices of courses and colleges in the order of preferences. The choice locking facility will be made available on the last date to fill preferences.
Employees State Insurance Corporation Medical College (ESIC), Joka, Kolkata has added four MBBS seats under All India Quota (AIQ) seats for UR, SC, OBC, and EWS candidates. Additionally, 13 seats will be added under ESIC quota – 5 for UR, 3 for OBC, 2 each for EWS and SC, and 1 for ST.
Vels Medical College and Hospital, Under VISTAS, Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu has added 42 MBBS paid seats and 8 under NRI quota.
A total of 15,797 MBBS seats were notified for NEET UG round 3 counselling. Following this, eight seats at Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot, Punjab were included, and now an additional 67 seats have been added.
