NEET UG counselling 2024 dates announced, registration likely from August 14: MCC

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling date for admission into MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical courses. The MCC NEET UG counselling registration 2024 for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) will begin tentatively on August 14. Eligible candidates, as per the final NEET UG results 2024 and revised merit list, will have to apply on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

"It is hereby informed that the NEET UG Counselling for the academic session 2024 is expected to commence tentatively from 14th of August 2024. However, the registration process for the counselling may begin in the first week of August. The candidates are advised to keep in touch with the MCC website regarding updates on schedule and further process of Counselling," said MCC in an official notice.
Through the NEET counselling 2024, the MCC will offer admission to 15% AIQ seats seats of states, 100% MBBS, BDS seats of BHU Open, 100% MBBS seats of AIIMS across India, JIPMER Open (Puducherry/ Karaikal), and participation institutes. There will be a total of four rounds of MCC counselling, including a spot round.
Candidates will have to use a valid e-mail address and mobile number submitted in the online application form of NTA for registration on the MCC portal for NEET counselling. They are also required to download Sandes app for OTP on your registered phone number for registration.
Before filling the choices, candidates have been advised to go through the availability of seats in their desired medical colleges. The registration also includes, uploading of documents, payment of fees, and choice locking.
After the declaration of round 1 seat allotment results, selected candidates will have to confirm the admission offer and make the payment and report to the allotted college.

NEET UG Counselling fee
For 15% AIQ, central universities such as DU, AMU, BHU and Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi, AFMC and ESI, all AIIMS, JIPMER, BSc Nursing courses, general category candidates will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,000 and SC, ST, OBC, PwD have to deposit Rs 500. The security amount to be paid by such candidates is Rs 10,000, while reserved category candidates will have to deposit Rs 5,000.
Candidates who apply for medical, dental, BSc Nursing seats in deemed universities will have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 5,000 and a refundable security money of Rs 2,00,000 (Rs 2 lakh).
