MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 registration begins tomorrow; all you need to know

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling registration process tomorrow, August 14, for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS, BDS seats. Candidates who have qualified the medical entrance exam as per the final NEET UG results 2024 will be eligible to apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 at the official websites, mcc.nic.in. Students will be given a 6-day time period to complete the NEET UG counselling 2024 registration.
According to the MCC NEET counselling 2024 schedule , the last date to register for NEET UG counselling is August 20.
The MCC will collate the data entered by the candidate at the time of NEET UG 2024 registration on NTA portal, exams.nta.ac.in, for NEET counselling purposes.
Before filling the NEET counselling form 2024, the MCC has advised candidates to confirm their eligibility and domicile on the MCC website for institutional quota seats of central universities, JIPMER. It also asked candidates to confirm the fee structure and additional fee, especially of the deemed universities, before filling up the choices and MCC NEET registration form.
“The conversion of seats will be carried out during the Round 3 for AIQ, deemed, central universities/ institutes, AIIMS, JIPMER, BSc Nursing courses. The said conversion will be done only when the eligible candidates belonging to the said conversion category have exhausted,” the MCC informed.
The security deposit will be forfeited if a candidate who has been allotted a seat in the Second Round or subsequent rounds and does not join the respective institution.

NEET UG counselling 2024 round 1
The MCC NEET UG round 1 counselling will include the following process.
- The 15% AIQ NEET UG counselling will include registration and payment of non-refundable fee.
- Exercising the preferred choices of colleges and medical courses and locking of choices before the deadline.
- The MCC will process the seat allotment on the basis of the choices filled by the qualified candidates.
- The MCC NEET UG round 1 counselling seat allotment results will be declared on mcc.nic.in website.
- Selected candidates will have to upload all the required documents after the NEET UG seat allotment results are declared.
- They will also have to report at the allotted medical, dental college against the round 1 seat allotment results.
- Candidates who have allotted a seat in round one can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report with original documents at the allotted college.
If a registered candidate is not allotted a seat in round 1 MCC counselling, they will be allowed to participate in round 2 directly without fresh registration.
MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 date
Students who have obtained a valid NEET UG score 2024 can check the MCC counselling dates for admission in 15% AIQ seats, 100% MBBS, BDS seats of BHU Open, 100% MBBS seats of AIIMS across India, JIPMER Open (Puducherry/ Karaikal), and participation institutes.
