NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the final seat matrix for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counselling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other UG medical courses. Along with this, the MCC has also published a list of 1,037 candidates who have been converted from Indian to NRI category after the scrutiny of documents. Candidates should note that the MCC NEET UG counselling registration will be closed in two days.

The NEET UG round 1 choice filling was scheduled to begin from August 16 and end on August 20. Medical aspirants who have a valid NEET UG score 2024 will have to submit the list of choices of courses and colleges in the order of preference.
Candidates who have got their category changed from Indian to NRI will have to produce the original documents at the time of reporting in case NRI seat is allotted to them, “failing which their admission is liable to get cancelled”.
The ministry of health and family welfare recently informed that there are a total of 1,12,112 MBBS seats in India and 731 new medical colleges have been established across the country.
As per the NEET UG counselling 2024 dates, the registration, choice filling, locking, fee payment facilities will end on August 20. The NEET UG round 1 seat allotment results 2024 will be declared on August 23. Students will be given a time between August 24 to 29 to report to the allotted college along with the required documents.
