MCC NEET UG special stray vacancy counselling 2024 begins tomorrow for vacant MBBS, BDS seats

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a special stray vacancy round for NEET UG counselling 2024 to fill vacant MBBS, BDS seats due to non-joining of candidates after the completion of last round. Candidates who have already registered for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 will be allowed to participate in the special stray round.

The list of NEET UG vacant seats for MBBS, BDS admission has been notified on the official website, mcc.nic.in. There will be no fresh registration for this round, however, candidates will be allowed to fill choices and make fee payment through the MCC official portal within the specified time period.

As per the NEET UG special stray vacancy schedule 2024, the fee payment and choice filling will begin tomorrow on November 20. Candidates will be given a day’s time to make the fee payment.

All registered candidates under the all India quota (AIQ), opting for government seats, irrespective of their category will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000 for participating in NEET UG special stray vacancy round. Those registered for deemed universities will have to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 3 lakh to exercise.

“Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Special Stray Vacancy Round will be Forfeited and they will not be eligible to take NEET UG exam for next year i.e 2025,” the MCC said.
