MET 2022: Phase 1 exam starts today; Dress code, test day guidelines

NEW DELHI: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will commence the MET 2022 exam for phase 1 today, May 14. Phase 1 of the Manipal entrance test will conclude on May 16. Candidates should bring their MET exam admit card and valid ID proof to appear for the exam.
If a candidate is found without the admit card, then he/she will not be allowed to enter the test centre. MAHE will conduct the MET 2022 phase 1 exam as a centre-based test.
MET Exam 2022 Phase 1- Dress code for the candidates
Candidates appearing for the MET 2022 exam are advised to follow the below-mentioned dress code to avoid casualties:

Wearing any kind of metallic item on the examination day is strictly prohibited.

Candidates are not allowed to wear a cap/muffler, stole/dupatta, scarf, or any cloth overhead.

Wearing any kind of jewelry or ornaments is not allowed.

Candidates must wear light and comfortable clothes considering the weather on the day of the exam.

According to the authorities, candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets or any other item.
MET 2022: Exam day guidelines
Candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned MET exam day guidelines:

It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their own stationery (pen/pencil). Only two rough papers will be given to the candidates.

MET 2022 admit card is the direct ticket to enter the exam centre. So, do not forget on the day of the examination.

A pre-test registration process will take place before the start of the actual exam. However, candidates are advised to manage their time according to the pre and post-test activities.

Candidates will not be allowed to bring electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, cameras, laptops, pagers, headsets, and more will not be permitted inside the test centre.

Discussions and copying of answers will be considered unfair means of cheating and the paper will get canceled if gets caught.

Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall after the commencement of the MET 2022 exam. However, if a candidate leaves the exam due to any reason then he/she will not be allowed to re-enter the exam hall.
