NEW DELHI : Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will begin the registration process for the 40th Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) exam 2025 tomorrow, February 24. Interested candidates will be able to fill out the MH SET 2025 application form through the official website, setexam.unipune.ac.in.

As per the schedule, the MH SET 2025 registration window will remain open till March 13. The MH SET 2025 application form filling with late fee will start on March 14 to March 21. Candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as late application fee.

MH SET 2025 exam date

According to the MH SET notification, the exam will be held on June 15. The exam will be administered at exam centres in Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ahilyanagar, Nasik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Ratnagiri, Parbhani, Nandurbar and Panjim (Goa).

The MH SET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility for assistant professor positions across Maharashtra’s universities and colleges.

The MH SET 2025 exam will have two objective-type papers. MH SET 2025 paper 1 assesses reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness, with each question carrying two marks. MH SET paper 2 tests the candidate’s expertise in their selected subject through 100 objective-type questions, each worth two marks. There is no negative marking in the MH SET 2025 exam.
