NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) has launched the "Samadhan" challenge to fight the COVID-19 and future challenges.

The mega online challenge “Samadhan” tests the ability of students to innovate, said a statement issued by the ministry.

Students will be given a challenge and they have to solve it and develop measures that can be put to practical use in the government agencies, health services, hospitals and other services.

The challenge will aim at finding quick solutions to the coronavirus epidemic and other such calamities that may occur in the future.

The "Samadhan" challenge will motivate students to conduct new experiments and make new discoveries.

The students can apply to participate in this competition from April 7 to 14, 2020.

The candidates will be shortlisted and the names of the selected contestants who will participate in “Samadhan” will be declared on April 17.
