New Delhi: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released a notification stating the change of the examination dates. MHT CET 2020 will now be conducted from April 13 to 18 (excluding April 14) and April 20 to 23. The authorities have announced a change in the date most probably due to Ambedkar Jayanti, which will be celebrated all over the country. Previously, the examination was to be held from April 13 to 17 and April 20 to 23, 2020.

MHT CET 2020 will be conducted as a computer based test and will consist of two papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). The total number of questions will be 100 and the questions will be based on 11th standard (20% weightage) and 12th standard (80% weightage) syllabus. The entrance examination will be conducted at various centres in the state which will be allotted through the admit card.
Registration for MHT CET 2020 is open till February 29. With a late fee of Rs. 500, the candidates will be able to submit the application form till March 7. Only the registered candidates will be able to participate in the examination and admission process. Around 1,27,537 seats will be available for eligible candidates through MHT CET 2020.
