MHT CET 2022: Maharashtra CET process delayed; Eligibility for BEd, MEd, LLB, other courses
The MHT CET tentative schedule for BA, LLB, BEd and other courses will be released in due course of time on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
Candidates can download and use the sample papers for better preparation.

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra informed candidates that the academic year 2022-23 is delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic which deferred the previous Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The Maharashtra CET usually announces the MAHA CET schedule in December. However, an official notice said, the MHT CET tentative schedule will be released in due course of time on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
In the latest notice, the Maharashtra CET cell said, “Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CETs in the academic year 2021-22 were delayed and so was the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of the professional courses of Higher Education. As a result CET process of academic year 2022-23 is also delayed. CET Cell will publish the notice once the dates of the CET process is finalized.”

Last year, the Maha CET 2021 exam for various courses like engineering, hotel management, MBA, LLB, pharmacy was held from September 15 to October 10, 2021. A total of 8,55,869 students appeared in the CET exam the previous year. The MHT CET exam centres were also increased to 226.
The authorities further said that the Directorate of Higher Education, MS Pune has been requested to share the updated syllabi of the higher education 08 professional courses for the academic year 2022-23. The same will be displayed on the CET portal once received, it added.

The Maharashtra CET cell has also announced the professional courses and the eligibility criteria to apply for the programmes.

Recently, the Maharashtra CET cell released the MHT CET 2022 syllabus and marking scheme at the official website - mhtcet2022.mahacet.org.
Candidates should also note that the MHT CET 2022 registration is ongoing. Aspirants can apply for MHT CET 2022 till March 31, 2022. Also, the MHT CET 2022 paper will be available in English, Urdu, and Marathi languages. MHT CET 2022 application form submission date with late fee is from April 1 to April 7, 2022.
