MHT CET 2024: CET Cell asks BTech applicants to upload NEET UG revised results by August 6

NEET UG revised final results 2024 was declared by the NTA on July 26. Candidates applying for BE, BTech admission through MHT CET should upload the revised results.

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has asked candidates taking admission to first-year engineering courses through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) to verify the revised results declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates who have registered for the admission to the participating colleges will have to upload the NEET UG final results 2024 through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

The NEET UG final results 2024 and scorecard uploaded on the NTA official websites, nta.ac.in and exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ declared recently will have to be updated in the MHT CET application form by August 6.

“Candidates who have registered on the basis of NEET examination result (Percentile) for the first year engineering course, the said candidates have to take the following action during the period of 04/08/2024 and 06/08/2024 (Grievance Period) to update the revised result in the application,” it said.

The registration process for the centralized admission process for the first year engineering course under the technical education department for the academic year 2024-25 has been started on July 14.

NEET UG exam 2024 was held on May 5, in which more than 23 lakh students took part. Although the NTA declared the results on June 23, several petitions seeking cancellation of the exam was filed in the Supreme Court and high courts across the country due to paper leak allegations and other irregularities.

A re-exam was held for 1,563 candidates who were awarded grace marks, resulting in an unprecedented number of NEET toppers (67). However, after the NTA revised the results, the NEET UG toppers were reduced to 17. Following the Supreme Court verdict, the NTA revised and declared the results on July 26 for MBBS, BDS admissions.

Who should update MHT CET application

Candidates who have gone to the physical scrutiny of the MHT CET application should go to the physical scrutiny center and take the revised mark sheet of the NEET UG 2024 examination with them and record the percentile in the revised result and upload the revised mark sheet and verify it from the facility center.

Candidates whose application has been verified through e-scrutiny method should file grievance online from their own login and fill in corrected marks of NEET UG 2024 examination and upload the copy of mark sheet and submit it afresh for e-scrutiny.
