Students admitted via MHT CET LLB counselling should report to the college for document verification by August 9.
MHT CET 2025 round 1 seat allotment for 5-year LLB admissions has been declared. Candidates who appeared for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Law (MHT CET Law 2025) can check their allotment status by submitting the respective application ID on the official website, llb5cap25.mahacet.org.
The MHT CET allotment result is also available via the institute-wise allotment lists. Candidates have to enter the desired university, college, and division to check the complete allotment details for round 1. Selected candidates should physically report to the allotted college for admission confirmation by August 9.
Candidates who have been given their first preference of college during the MHT CET round 1 allotment are not eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling. If a candidate is rejected by the allotted college due to discrepancies in application and verification, they can participate in round 3, after submitting an online rejection letter, along with the rejection remarks obtained from the college.

Students who have been allocated a seat other than their first preference can either ‘freeze’ the seat and confirm admission with the allotted institute, or they can opt for ‘betterment’ to proceed to round 2. Their seat will be upgraded to a higher preference in subsequent rounds, or their current seat will be retained.
All selected students have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. In case of non-payment, the candidate will not be allotted a seat in any round of counselling.
Colleges will upload the list of admitted students for the 5-year Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programme on August 11. The vacant seats remaining after round 1 will be displayed on the same day.
Registrations for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round 3 and institutional level round are open till August 23 for CET-qualified candidates.
