According to several students who appeared for the shift 1 paper, around 20+ questions in the maths paper had incorrect options. Many students raised their concerns and are requesting to take action against the inconvenience caused to them.
Student’s parents have also requested a re-test, as it will not be fair for children who have worked hard for the exam.
“This is a very serious issue . @CETCELL @CMOMaharashtra please take action . My daughter appeared in the same shift, she also faced same issue. Request retest. No grace marks or cancellation of questions as it will be injustice students who have worked hard,” user posted on X.
“Big blunder putting students under pressure after working hard for 2 years for such important exam in your career and life. Need re-exam for justice to student, strict action on guilty authorities," user said in a post on X.
Another user said on X students have worked hard for the exam, but due to a technical issue, so many options were suffled in the computer-based test. “Students have worked very hard during whole year to crack MHTCET exam but due to technical issues in exam today many options were cross suffled with different questions, due to which exam became invalid as it is only option based 27 april shift 1.”
A student posted on X “I have spent one year of my time in this exam so my vote is for re-examination.”
