The computer-based MHT CET exam 2026 for PCB group will be conducted from April 21 to 26 in two shifts. The morning session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, whereas the afternoon shift will be from 2 to 5 pm.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), Maharashtra will begin the MHT CET 2026 exam for Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) group from tomorrow. Over 2.84 lakh students will appear for the MHT CET 2026 PCB group examination for admission to pharmacy and agriculture programmes.

According to an official statement, a total of 2,84,063 students will appear for the MHT CET 2026 for the PCB group, with female candidates outnumbering males.
The computer-based MHT CET exam 2026 for BPharma and BAgriculture will be conducted from April 21 to 26 in two shifts. The morning session will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, whereas the afternoon shift will be from 2 to 5 pm.
The college entrance tests will be organised at 189 examination centres in 36 districts of Maharashtra.

For the first time, the MHT CET exams will be conducted in two terms. The second attempt of the MHT CET 2026 exam will be conducted from May 10 to 11, where approximately 1,11,809 students will appear for the college entrance test.
In total, 3,95,872 students will appear for the MHT CET 2026 exam for PCB group in both the attempts.
“The CET cell has decided to conduct the entrance examination (CET) of MHT CET (PCM Group), MHT CET (PCB Group) and MBA/MMS courses twice for the first time. It is mandatory for the student to give one entrance examination and the second entrance examination will be optional,” the official statement reads.
Students had the option of selecting the term of entrance examination. If a student gives two entrance exams, then the result with the higher percentile out of the two will be considered for admission.
The MHT CET 2026 exam for PCB group will be held for a duration of 180 minutes and the question paper will be divided into two parts. Students will be given the first 90 minutes to attempt the Physics and Chemistry sections, and the sections will be submitted automatically.
Another 90 minutes will be given for the Biology section.
