NEW DELHI, NOVEMBER 18, 2019: Ministry of Culture has announced 400 scholarships for young artists in the field of arts, dance, and music. This Ministry of Culture Scholarships will be provided to young talents to train them further at an advanced level within India. All the applicants will appear for an interview/performance round, which will be taken by an expert committee. The scholarship of Rs. 5000 per month will be provided for the duration of 2 years to the successful students.

Thumri, Dadra, Tappa, Qawali, Ghazal, etc.
Ministry of Culture Scholarships- Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be within 18 to 25 years as on April 1.
Prior knowledge of the concerned art along with a minimum of 5 years of training under Guru or institute is mandatory.
