NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education will hold "Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye" from February 28 to March 6, 2024, with the goal of ensuring universal participation by youth in elections. Dharmendra Pradhan, union minister for education, skill development, and entrepreneurship, encouraged the nation's young to make their opinions heard. He informed that he had directed all higher education institutions in the country to conduct voter awareness activities on their campuses.

He emphasised prime minister Narendra Modi's clear call to our youth and first-time voters to use their franchise in huge numbers. The voter awareness activities on the higher education institutions campuses will be held from February 28 to March 6 in order to galvanize Yuva Shakti and emphasise the importance of voting, making informed choices, and participating in electoral processes for a more representative democracy.
