MP board re-exam for classes 5, 8 from June 16; time table out

MP Board 2026: Re-exams for Class 5 and Class 8 students will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 12:30 pm.
The Madhya Pradesh State Education Center has released the revised timetable for the Class 5 and Class 8 re-examination for the academic session 2025-26. The MP board will conduct the re-exams for Class 5 students from June 16 to 22, while the re-exams for Class 8 will be held from June 16 to 23.
The MP board re-exams 2026 for Classes 5 and 8 will take place from 10 am to 12:30 pm.
As per the revised schedule, Class 5 re-exams 2026 will begin with a First Language paper comprising Hindi, English, Urdu and Marathi. The Mathematics examination, or Music for visually impaired candidates, will be held on June 18.

Moreover, the Second Language paper will take place on June 19. MP Class 5 students who opted for Hindi, Urdu or Marathi as their first language will appear for English as the second language, while those who selected English as the first language will have Hindi as their compulsory second language, the notice read.
Whereas the environmental studies paper will be conducted on June 20, while the additional languages exam, including Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu and Punjabi, along with painting for deaf and mute students, will be held on June 22.
The State Education Center clarified that the ‘Additional Language’ subject is optional for students. In addition, students with disabilities will be provided additional time and scribe facilities in accordance, the board said.
“The examination schedule will remain unchanged even if any local or public holiday falls during the examination period,” the notice added.
