MPPSC SET 2024 registration deadline tomorrow; correction window open

NEW DELHI: The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) will close the registration window for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 tomorrow, April 20. Eligible candidates should fill out the MPPSC SET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in.

The commission has also activated the MPPSC SET 2024 application correction window. Candidates should make changes in the required fields by April 22. Candidates should use their registration number and password to log in and make changes to the MPPSC SET 2024 application form. The commission will open the application window with a late fee of Rs 3,000 from April 21 to April 30.

Candidates from scheduled cast (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward class (OBC), economically weaker section (EWS), or person with disability (PwD) who belong to Madhya Pradesh are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 to register for the MPPSC SET exam. On the other hand, general category candidates and those residing outside of Madhya Pradesh are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500.

Candidates applying for the MP SET 2024 exam should possess a master’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks from institutions recognised by the UGC. There are no age restrictions for applying to the MP SET 2024 exam.

The MP SET 2024 is a state-level written exam conducted to select candidates for the assistant professor position within Madhya Pradesh. This exam will cover 36 subjects. The commission will soon announce the MPPSC SET 2024 exam date on the official website.

MPPSC SET 2024: Exam pattern

The MPPSC SET 2024 comprises two papers: Paper 1 focuses on the general paper on teaching and research aptitude, while Paper 2 focuses on the candidate's selected subject. Paper 1 is a one-hour examination carrying 100 marks, while Paper 2 extends for two hours carrying 200 marks.

The final selection of the candidates will be decided based on the applicant’s score on the written test. Candidates from general categories are required to score a minimum of 40% marks to qualify the exam and 35 % are required for the applicants belonging to the reserved category.
