University of Mumbai (MU) will issue the second merit list for admission to undergraduate (UG) programmes today, May 31. Candidates who applied for MU admission 2025 for UG programmes will be able to view the second merit list through the official website at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The university will prepare the MU UG second merit list based on the candidates’ marks secured in Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The cut-offs for Mumbai University vary depending on the course and college. The Mumbai University 2nd merit list 2025 will include details such as the candidate’s name, application number, category, marks obtained, and the allotted college and course.
Candidates whose names appear in the MU second merit list will have to complete online document verification and pay the admission fees between June 2 and June 4 by 3 pm. The university is conducting the MU UG admission process in three rounds. The MU first merit list was published on May 27, 2025.
Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the MU merit list 2025 for UG admission.
Candidates whose names are not in the second merit list can wait for the release of the third merit list and participate in the subsequent round of online document verification and fee payment as per the schedule.
As per the schedule, the third merit list will be published on June 5, 2025. Candidates selected in this list can complete online document verification and fee payment between June 6 and June 10, 2025. Classes and orientation are scheduled to begin on June 13, 2025.

Candidates are required to carry the following documents while visiting the campus for further admission process. The following documents will be verified before confirming the admissions.
HSC Maharashtra Board students
Students from Indian boards other than Maharashtra Board and Indian passport holders.
Original + two Xerox copies of Class 12 marksheet
Original + two Xerox copies of Class 12 migration certificate
Original + two Xerox copies of Class 12 passing certificate
Two attested copies of Class 10 marksheet
Xerox copy of leaving certificate.
Foreign Board (Only Indian Nationality)
Students whose names appear on the second merit list should visit the St. Andrew's College for physical verification of documents. Students who have been allotted seats in BCom and BA courses will have to pay Rs 4,556+ Rs 1,500 = Rs 6,056.
"Students who do not pay their fees by Wednesday 04th June, 2025 upto 03.00p.m and who do not complete the process of physical verification of documents will lose their right for admission and will not be admitted thereafter," the college said.

Students who have been allotted seats in the Mumbai University second merit list 2025 will have to get their documents verified between June 2 to 4.
The second merit list for Kirti College, affiliated with the Mumbai University has been issued today. Students, whose names have been included in the merit list should have to submit the documents for verification in the college.
