The colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai such as D.G. Ruparel College, MVLU College, BK Birla College, KC College, HR College of Commerce and Khalsa College, M.L. Dhanukar College of Arts and Commerce, Burhani College have released the Mumbai University first merit list 2022 and cut-off for undergraduate programmes on June 29. Other MU colleges like KBP College, Bandodkar College, K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, etc will soon release the first merit list of Mumbai University 2022 on their official websites.

As per the report by Mid-Day , the university has received around 6,45,228 applications and 2,41,921 students have registered for undergraduate admissions.
This year, MU has decided to start the Mumbai University admission process for UG courses without waiting for CBSE and ICSE Class 12 results. “The colleges may get permission from the university for additional seats in excess of the intake to admit CBSE and ICSE board students as per college merit cut-off in due course,” reads the official notification on the Mumbai University’s website. Maharashtra state board had announced the Class 12th results on June 8 with 94.22% passing percentage.

The document verification and fee payment process under the Mumbai University first merit list will be conducted between June 30 to July 6.
The Mumbai University 1st merit list 2022 will be prepared on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the Class 12th and the number of seats available.
The Mumbai University will release a total of three UG merit lists. The Mumbai University 2022 merit list for second and first round will be released on July 7 and July 14, respectively.

In a first, the University of Mumbai has started the admission process for undergraduate courses before the announcement of CBSE and ICSE Class 12 results. Earlier, the Director of Board of Examination and Evaluation at Mumbai University, Vinod Patil issued a circular and asked all affiliated colleges to adhere to the Mumbai University admission schedule.
