NEW DELHI: Mumbai University first merit list 2023 has been released today for admissions to MU undergraduate programmes. Colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai including ML Dahanukar College of Commerce, Rizvi College, Khalsa College, Sophia College for Women, St Xavier’s College have released the MU merit list along with cut off and admission process for UG programmes on their respective websites.
The Mumbai University merit list will include selected candidate’s registration number, name, category, marks obtained, qualifying marks and more. Candidates will require documents such as passport size photograph, signature, Aadhar Card, ‘ABC’ ID, caste certificate, 10th and 12th (HSC) marksheets, and specially abled certificate etc. to participate in the counselling process.
While the document verification process for Mumbai University admission 2023 will be conducted till June 20, candidates will have to pay the fees by June 27 for the first round.
According to the official schedule, the Mumbai University will release three merit lists this year. The second merit list will be released on June 28 and the third merit list will be announced on July 6.

According to the schedule of the Mumbai University UG admissions 2023, document verification has begun today, June 20. Students can check individual college admission procedures to get their documents verified for further steps of counselling. Successful candidates will have to pay the fees before June 27.
Bhavan's College has released the first merit list 2023 for undergraduate admissions to BCom, Biotech, BSc, BA, BAF, BAMMC, BMS etc. Candidates can check the merit lists on the official website of the college -- bhavans.ac.in.

In order to get a seat in any Mumbai University college, candidates will have to follow these steps given below-
Step 1: Fill the Mumbai University application form and pay the required application fee.
Step 2: Check the Mumbai University college merit lists.
Step 3: Complete MU document verification process.
Step 4: Pay the MU UG admission fee in order to claim the seats before the deadline.
As per the Hinduja College merit list, as many as 521 students have been shortlisted for UG admission. The hindujacollege.in is hosting the Hinduja College Merit list.
In Arts stream, Ramnarain Ruia College admits students to programmes in the field of commerce, economics, English, french, Hindi, history, Marathi, psychology, philosophy, political science, Sanskrit. With these specialized domains, the student gets absorbed in civil services (MPSC, UPSC), law, MBA, translation and interpretation, market research, performing arts, anthropology, archaeology, heritage walks.
Students shortlisted in Sophia College will have to go for subject counselling and submit certain documents between June 20 and June 27 from 9 am to 2 pm to confirm admission. These are the documents required:

In the Mumbai University admission process, there will be no centralized merit list. This means that instead of a single merit list, individual colleges affiliated with Mumbai University will release their own merit lists for admission.

The Mumbai University merit list 2023 has been prepared taking into account the marks obtained by candidates in their last qualifying examination, as well as the total number of available seats. The first merit list released by R A Podar College shows that the cut-off range for the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) programme is from 96.8% to 69.83% for all categories.

The qualifying percentage for admission to RJ College
The Institute of Forensic Sciences has made the first merit list available. The university has made the merit lists for UG admissions to all the faculties including science, arts and commerce. These are programmes under the faculty of science.
