Mumbai University semester 6 exams 2023 starts tomorrow, students yet to get hall ticket

NEW DELHI: The University of Mumbai has once again delayed issuing admit cards for semester exams. The Mumbai University semester 6 exams 2023 will commence tomorrow, April 12. MU students have been flooding Twitter demanding clarity over the hall tickets, exam centre and the postponement of exams.
“The BA third-year section of Mumbai University has its exams of semester 6 starting tomorrow. Students haven’t yet received their hall tickets! They haven’t received their Sem 5 results either,” Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray.
“While the Mumbai University messes with the future of students, the Higher and Technical Education Minister is busy indulging in ruining the future of Maharashtra, with his statements and being a part of anti-Maharashtra Govt Disgraceful how his ministry work has been,” he added.
The situation was similar during semester 5 exams, when delay in receiving MU exam hall tickets, exam centres left students anxious. Students have been flooding social media demanding clarity on the MU semester hall tickets and exam centres.
“Final year Students currently~Exam in 23 hrs! No hall ticket is given yet. We don't know about the exam centre! And no information when the Hall tickets will come. This is how a University is supposed to work?” a student tweeted.

“Waited from 11-2:30 for the Sem 6 Exam Hall Ticket. Have been asked to return empty handed,the University "might" send hall tickets by 8 am. Wasted the exam revision time and tomorrow after 8 am we have to go to a random exam centre!?” another tweeted.

In a recent incident, 50 students pursuing BCom and BSc courses in two Mumbai colleges were declared “failed” after being marked absent for the exams they took, as per a report in Mid-day newspaper.
