NEW DELHI: The University of Mumbai has started conducting semester exams offline after a gap of two years. Apart from writing exams in physical mode, delay in receiving MU exam hall tickets, exam centres have left students anxious.

Confused students have been flooding social media demanding clarity on the MU semester exam time table. Many engineering students have claimed that the university is yet to publish the time table for semester exams which is scheduled to begin from December 8, 2022.

Amid the chaos caused due to delay in MU exam time table, hall ticket and exam centre, the LLB students took the exam on November 29, 2022. According to reports, many MU final-year semester 5 law students did not receive the hall tickets. However, they appeared in the exam after the university created a tentative admit card based on the permanent registration number in the last-minute, the TOI reported.

Students said that the delay in issuing hall tickets has caused additional problems as they were already stressed about the physical exams. Some even thought that the university will postpone exams as it did not issue hall tickets even a day before a the exam. The university held semester exams in online mode due to COVID-19 pandemic.

The report also stated that several principals of MU colleges did not even know that the colleges were exam centres.

“Mumbai University is again playing with students career.Understood Engg exam starting frm 8th Dec.Still the exam forms are not filled, today students are instructed to fill the forms,many students are getting error to fill forms,” a student wrote on Twitter.

A BTech student demanded clarity on MU semester exam time table 2022 as it is scheduled to begin in four days.
