New Delhi: Council of Architecture (CoA) has brought new changes in the exam pattern of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). As per the new exam pattern, the Part B will now have questions from Physics and Chemistry in addition to the existing Mathematics. NATA exam has two parts, Part-A as Drawing Test and Part-B as Test on Scientific Ability and General Aptitude. The Part A -Drawing test have three questions on drawing skill and Part B will have 15 questions from PCM and 35 questions from general aptitude and logical reasoning. Candidates will be awarded 1.5 marks for each correct answer in Part B. There will be no negative marking. |
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is the exam conducted for admission in B.Arch and B.Plan courses in Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPAs) at New Delhi, Bhopal and Vijayawada. The NATA score is also used by other architecture colleges across the country for offering admission in B.Arch and B.Plan courses.
NATA is conducted twice in a year by CoA, in April and May-June. NATA 2020 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 19 and May 31. Application form of NATA is available in online mode from February 1 till March 16 for April exam and till May 4 for the May exam. Students can check the official information brochure to check syllabus of newly added Physics and Chemistry as well as for complete test.
