NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 28- Students who have their JEE Main 2019 exam on January 8 and 9 have a little reason to worry due to the two-day nationwide strike called by central trade unions. The nationwide general strike on January 8 and 9 will hit the basic services throughout the country including railways and road transport. Students who have their exam centres in distant places, away from their cities may face difficulties in reaching their exam venues due to strike. National Testing Agency, the organizing authority of JEE Main exam has so far not come up with any measure regarding the matter.
NTA is slated to organize JEE Main exam 2019 across the country during January 8 and 12 on multiple timings for which dates were announced much earlier. The nationwide strike called by different trade unions of country would affect the basic facilities and convenience. Students who would be going for exams to any far places may face difficulties due to unavailability of basic services. On the other side, representatives from central trade unions have earmarked that strike will be called as planned and no rescheduling or cancellation is possible.
