NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will declare the JNV selection test 2023 results for Class 6 admission in June. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class 6 was held on April 29. Students who appeared in the exam will be able to check their marks and qualifying status from the official website, navodaya.gov.in.

A candidate seeking admission to Class 6 must have studied and passed classes 3 to 5 from a government, govt-aided, recognized school. “No candidate is eligible to appear in the selection test for the second time, under any circumstances,” JNV informed.
At least 75% of the seats in a district will be filled by students provisionally selected from rural areas of the district. The remaining seats are open which will be filled on merit from both urban and rural area candidates of the district as per reservation criteria.
If a student had studied in a school located in an urban area even for a day in Class 3 to 5 will be considered as an urban candidate. It further informed that there will be no reservation for transgender students in the JNV Class 6 admissions 2023.
