NBE to conduct Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test (FDGE) 2019 on 1st September

NEW DELHI; July 29: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released a notification for Foreign Dental Graduate Screening Test - FDGE 2019. Through an official notification, the autonomous regulatory body has announced the date for conducting the FDGE exam, which will be held on September 1, 2019, at Delhi. The information bulletin along with the FDG screening test application form is expected on August 10, 2019. Registered candidates can download the admit card from August 21 onwards.
As per the ‘Dental Council of Screening Test Regulations 2009’ the foreign dental graduate test is conducted for Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Person of Indian Origin (PIOs) to determine their eligibility for registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or any other State Dental Council (SDC).

Once downloading the hall tickets, the passport size photograph should be pasted on the designated space provided. It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with the following original and non-expired ID proofs at the exam centres:

2. Aadhaar card
3. Driving license
4. Voter ID

Who are eligible for FDGE 2019?
As per the regulations, only candidates who fulfills the certain eligibility criteria will be eligible to take the screening test.

An aspirant should be an India citizen or OCI/PIO card holders

Candidates must have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test

The foreign institute/university where the BDS has been completed should be recognised by the concerned authority of the respective country.

BDS course completed should be a regular one with the minimum duration as specified by the DCI.

The minimum criteria for admission to any foreign university/institute should be equal to the criteria specified by the DCI.

He/she must fulfill the other basic requirements as specified by the dental council in the regulations.
