NBEMS to conduct NEET SS 2024 tentatively on March 29, 30; eligibility criteria

NEW DELHI: In a recent update, the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of the National Medical Commission has approved the tentative schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Superspecialty (NEET-SS) 2024. As per the official notification, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET SS 2024 exam on March 29 and 30, 2025 at various centres across the country.
This announcement follows the directives issued by the Supreme Court on August 14, 2024. Candidates can check the NEET SS 2024 exam schedule through the official website, natboard.edu.in.
"Pursuant to the approval of Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), National Medical Commission, vide its letter dated 12.09.2024 and in compliance to the orders dated 14.08.2024 of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the tentative schedule for conduct of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) - Superspecialty is being notified", the official notification read.
NEET SS 2024: Eligibility criteria

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have a recognised postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.

Registration : Candidates must have a valid medical registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or a State Medical Council.

Completion of Internship : Applicants should have completed their required internship before the date of the exam.

Experience : In some cases, experience in a relevant field or speciality may be required or preferred, depending on the superspecialty program.
