Nagaland board declares HSSLC compartment, improvement exam results 2026 at nbsenl.edu.in

The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), Kohima, has declared the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) compartment and improvement examination results 2026. Along with the results, the board has released the stream-wise pass percentages. Students who appeared in the exam can collect their HSSLC marksheet and pass certificate from the NBSE office from July 17, 2026.

Candidates will have to collect their HSSLC marksheet and pass certificate from their respective institutions by producing their original admit card. The board clarified that marksheets and pass certificates will not be issued directly to individual candidates from its office.

NBSE also informed institutions that original pass certificates are being issued along with marksheets. Therefore, there is no need to issue provisional pass certificates, and educational institutions admitting students should not insist on them.

The board has clarified that there will be no provision for re-scrutiny or photocopies of answer scripts for the HSSLC compartment and improvement examination 2026.

Candidates have been advised to report any errors in their HSSLC marksheets or pass certificates within 30 days of the publication of the result gazette.

NBSE HSSLC compartment result stream-wise pass percentages

According to the board report, the Commerce stream recorded the highest overall pass percentage of 41.67%, followed by Arts at 31.46% and Science at 22.53%.

In the Arts stream, 712 candidates appeared for the examination, of whom 224 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 31.46%. A total of 132 candidates appeared in the commerce stream, out of which 55 passed the examination. In the Science stream, 66 candidates qualified out of 293 examinees.

NBSE HSSLC improvement result stream-wise pass percentages

According to the improvement results, the arts stream recorded the highest overall pass percentage of 87.50%, with 7 of the 8 candidates who appeared clearing the examination.

In the science stream, 105 out of 126 candidates qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 83.33%.
