NCET 2023 provisional answer key out; raise objections by August 16

NEW DELHI: The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) provisional answer key has been issued. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has uploaded the NCET provisional answer keys along with the question papers and recorded responses on the official websites -- nta.ac.in and ncet.samarth.ac.in. NCET 2023 exam, held for admission to four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), was held on August 9.

NTA has also provided the option for all candidates who have appeared for NCET 2023 to challenge the answer key. The last date to raise objections against the NCET 2023 answer key is August 16. The final NCET answer key will be issued after considering the objections received on the answer key.

To raise objections against the answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee.

Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject experts, NTA said adding that if the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the NCET answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly.

Challenges accepted against any answer key will be applicable to all candidates who would have attempted the corresponding question, NTA said.

“Candidates are advised to note that in bi-lingual questionpapers,in case of any discrepancy in the translation, the English version shall prevail except in LanguageTest papers, NTA NCET 2023 statement added.
