The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the final answer key for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026. Candidates who appeared for the NCET, held on April 17 and 18, can download the NCET 2026 final answer key through the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.

The login details to download the NCET 2026 final answer key include application number and date of birth or password. The NCET 2026 final answer key has been prepared after reviewing objections from candidates against the provisional answer key.

The final answer key will also be used to prepare the NCET 2026 final scorecards and merit list.

The NTA has not announced the NCET 2026 result date. However, as per previous years trends, the NCET result is expected to be declared in mid June.

NCET 2026: How to download final answer key

Candidates can follow these steps given below to download the NCET 2026 final answer key.

  • Go to the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/ncet.
  • On the homepage, click on the "NCET 2026 Final Answer Key" link.
  • A new web page will open.
  • Enter application numbers and password.
  • Press the submit icon.
  • NCET 2026 final answer key will appear on the screen.

More than 73,000 candidates appeared for the NCET 2026 examination for admission to four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026-27.

Notably, candidates can take admission in central, state universities, including the Indian institutes of technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs, regional institutes of Education (RIEs), and Government Colleges.

A total of 223 institutions, including 5 IITs, NITs each, and 4 Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) will participate in the NCET 2026.
