Download NowThe National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has released a notification for the NCHM JEE 2026. According to the NCHM JEE 2026 brochure, registration will begin in the second week of December 2025, and the hotel management exam will be held in the second week of April 2026.

Candidates seeking admission to a bachelor's degree in hotel management can apply for the NCHM JEE exam 2026 on the NTA official website, the exam-conducting body. The NCHM JEE 2026 will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) with a duration of 3 hours.
The NCHM JEE 2026 question paper consists of five sections: Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for the Service Sector.
Each section carries 15 marks, except English Language and Aptitude for Service Sector, which carry 45 and 30 marks respectively, bringing the total marks for the exam to 120.
NCHM JEE Exam 2026: Eligibility criteria
Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or institution, with English as one of the subjects, are eligible to apply for the NCHM JEE 2026.
Those who appear in the qualifying exam can also apply on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will be cancelled if candidates fail to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination either at the time of admission or, at the latest, by September 30, 2026.
There is no age restriction to apply for the exam.

Tuition fees vary across institutes, as they have the right to set their own, typically ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for the full six-semester programme.

Admission is granted based on the All India Rank (AIR) secured in the NCHM JEE 2026 exam. Following this, centralised online counselling is conducted nationwide, and seats or institutes are allotted based on merit and the candidate’s preferred choices.
