NCSSR, TransStadia University to host Bharat sports science conclave on February 28
NADA will hold an anti-doping awareness session at the conclave in New Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The National Centre of Sports Science and Research (NCSSR) and TransStadia University are going to host a Bharat sports science conclave in New Delhi on February 28. This one-day event aims to integrate sports science effectively into athlete training and enhance India's sporting prowess.
The conclave, guided by the principles of Vision Olympics 2036, will feature distinguished industry and subject matter experts as keynote speakers. Additionally, it will incorporate research presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and various other engaging elements, the official press release read.
Speaking about the event, the founder of TransStadia University, Udit Sheth said, “TransStadia University has taken a holistic approach to develop the athletic ecosystem through practical training, research, and creative knowledge projects. Sports medicine, high performance, and sports science affect the athlete's lifecycle, performance, and longevity. The Bharat Sports Science Conclave (BSSC) helps build partnerships, learn, and share best practices.”

Sessions, discussions at conclave
Several sessions, such as the significance of training in load management, the involvement of metacognition and goal setting, and the influence of data science on athlete development through nutrition and physiology, will be encompassed in the various sessions of panel discussions and brainstorming scheduled for the event, the institute said in a statement. A special session on anti-doping awareness will also be conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) during the conclave.
While talking about the idea behind the conclave NCSSR director, Bihu Kalyan Nayak said, “We at NCSSR are excited for the first Bharat sports sciences conclave, themed Vision Olympics 2036. Our nation hopes to become an athletic powerhouse in the future.” It marks a pivotal moment where we unite with a singular vision of sports excellence and innovation, he further added.
